On May 28, 2024, Capitol Heights police officer, Mohamed Magassouba, received the prestigous Officer of the Year award during an intimiate ceremony with family, friends, and colleagues. At the ceremony, Officer Magassouba was recognized by the Chief of Police, the Mayor, and several members of the City Council for his unwavering attention to detail and "commitment to ensuring police operations and administrative processes are fully functional and in compliance as required by law."

We're proud and honored to represent Officer Magassouba in his pursuit of justice against his former employer, the Prince George's County Police Department, for unlawfully discriminating and retaliating against him for choosing integrity over institutional loyality. Officer Magassouba's receipt of the Officer of the Year award only further confirms that his termination from the PGCPD had nothing to do with his character or professional work ethic.

Sign Officer Magassouba's petition to justice to add your name to the collective call for justice in his federal civil rights case against the PGCPD. The petition may be accessed via the following link: https://www.justlyprudent.com/justice-petition/magassouba.
